Have you ever found yourself stuck in a rut? Going about your business day by day, week by week, month by month doing the same things that you think you need to do to be successful, but the results are not there? Maybe you are making progress, but where is the exponential growth that it’s going to take to realize your goals? If I have been persistent, dedicated and consistent, why does my business objective sometimes feel so out of reach?
Recently, I have been considering why the journey to my next goal has hit some road bumps and has somewhat stalled. At this point in time, just trudging forward reminds me of the saying “If you always do what you’ve always done, you will always get what you’ve always got” ~author questionable. (I just looked it up and I see Tony Robbins, Henry Ford, Mark Twain, and several others taking credit for that quote). Am I crazy? “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”~ Albert Einstein. Well, now that I look back over the past few years, I have been a bit crazy. It’s time to change things up!
My goal remains the same, however, I am opening myself up to look at things differently, try new things and go in a new direction that has the potential to create new connections, new skills, and a new exciting energy that may propel me in the direction of my dreams. I still don’t know what it looks like but I am open to the signs, and my new motto: “Work in the sense of joyously moving forward!”
If you resonate at all with my current dilemma, I encourage you to take a look at what you have been doing and consider your own “shake-up”. Friends, family and business partners may look at you funny because they kind of want you to stay the same. Nobody likes to change and they don't want you to either!
I am here with you and if you would like to visit about it, please connect with me!
